How DO I feel??
This one may not only be limited to a kid tool. I know I find myself struggling with exactly where I'm at emotionally, especially when in the moment. This emotions tree may be a kickstarter into a very in-depth view of one's perspective on things. Having the individual begin by finding themselves on the tree may be easier for them to do than trying to find the words to describe it. Helping them find ways to describe that emotion may ease their ability to cope and understand it. If when in a group who's struggling to get along, this may help them to see another's perspective as well.
Grades K-3rd
This is an activity that can be used in small groups or classrooms in many different ways. In the class, you could invite kids to draw what they think the feeling face might look like. You could have some already drawn and have the kids match the feeling with the face. Or make up another activity.
